ERI Expands Professional Staff with Two Key Hires

Charlotte, North Carolina - As a result of ERI's consistent recruitment efforts to identify experienced environmental risk management/support talent, we are very pleased to announce the recent hiring of two outstanding professionals! ERI's new team members have the background necessary to provide the level of environmental risk review quality, timely delivery of ESA/database reviews and outstanding level of service, which our loyal customer base of banks nationwide have grown accustomed to since the late 1990s. Our two new staff additions have joined ERI’s permanent full-time team of experienced environmental risk professionals and will work closely with them out of our single location headquartered in Charlotte. Centralization of all staff members in Charlotte promotes the cooperative interaction of ERI's experienced environmental risk management professionals and ensures the timely delivery of quality environmental risk review products for our rapidly expanding base of loyal banks and commercial lenders.

Our most recently hired Environmental Risk Analyst, Janine TurbĂ©, joined the ERI team on September 3rd.  Janine holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Affairs (Cum Laude) and a Master's Degree in Marine Affairs/Policy (Cum Laude), both from the University of Miami School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. Janine worked for over ten years at both ATC Associates (now Cardno ATC) and Hart & Hickman, performing ESAs, coordinating soil and groundwater sampling activities, as well as performing Brownfield inventory assessments on hundreds of commercial properties. ERI is excited to add Janine’s practical environmental assessment experience and former role in managing a group of field personnel to our experienced team of seasoned environmental risk management professionals. Due to her reputation for executing and managing quality ESAs for a broad base of satisfied commercial lenders, ERI followed Janine’s career and her reputation for “quite some time” before landing our actual interview with her in early August. We are excited to have her join our team!

If you have had the opportunity to call ERI over the past several weeks, you may have noted that your call was answered by an individual with “perfect English, and little discernible dialect!” Louise Anderson recently joined ERI as our Office Manager. Louise was a former Adjunct English Professor at Broward College in Coconut Creek, Florida, where she taught English composition classes, instructing students in research techniques and proper MLA citation style.  Louise will assist our professional staff in project set-up, ordering data, downloading reports for review, assist in financial management and will make certain you are directed to the appropriate professional to address your environmental risk management needs. Louise’s warm demeanor and eloquent verbal skills will charm everyone!

ERI is excited to add these two gifted professionals to our already cohesive environmental team, who will ensure our clients continued access to a seasoned group of experienced environmental risk management professionals, known for their superior customer service and quality review products.

About Environmental Risk Innovations
ERI is the nation’s largest environmental risk consulting firm, specializing in the management of environmental risk for commercial lenders.  ERI’s clients include small regional banks to large banks with national footprints.  ERI develops internal environmental risk policy for commercial lenders, provides third-party review of environmental assessment reports, and conducts Records Search with Risk Assessments (RSRAs)/“desktop reviews” on commercial properties.  ERI is not a traditional environmental consulting firm that performs Phase I or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.  As a result, ERI’s recommendations represent a truly independent, third-party opinion that conforms to the client bank’s specific risk tolerance.
